Email problems trying to contact a buyer or seller
(last updated on 5/31/2005 11:29:24 PM)

Our email system has a great deal of traffic and at times it can fall behind while trying to deliver the massive numbers of emails it needs to send out. Occasionally an email may not get delivered though this is rare. We are looking into ways to improve our email system at this time.

In the meanwhile, we suggest that you use our web site to gather the information that you need, rather then depend on the email notifications and contacting buyers and sellers via the link on the item view page. We recommend that you use the links below to request the Buyer or Seller's contact information and contact them via email directly using your own email software.

Please note that you can only request the contact information of a buyer or seller that you have won an auction with.

Buyers:
If you cannot get in touch with the seller within the five-day window, you do not receive your item in a timely fashion, or you are having some other problem with the seller, please navigate to our
Resolving Problems with the Seller wizard located on the For Buyers page. You can request the contact information, which includes the email address of the seller by using the following link:
http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/RequestUserInfoForm.asp

Then you can use your own email software to contact them directly.

Sellers:
If you cannot get in touch with the buyer within the five-day window, you do not receive payment in a timely fashion, or you are having some other problem with the buyer, please navigate to our
Resolving Problems with the Buyer wizard located on the For Sellers page. You can request the contact information, which includes the email address of the buyer by using the following link:
http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/RequestUserInfoForm.asp

Then you can use your own email software to contact them directly.
